be動詞也有各種時態變化，我最熟悉的，就是現在時中的am、is、are，今天我們把 be 動詞的各種時態變化，做一個總結。看下錶：

be 的各種時態

一般現在時的 be

我們先說大家最熟悉的：am，is，are 的用法，既然 be 有時態變化，就必須注意 be 的形式和“時間、數、人稱”相關。關於這三個形式的用法，有很多順口溜，在這裡老師嚴正宣告：有你背順口溜的時間，不如用來背句子！切記！我們看例句：

一般將來時的 be：will be 或者 be going to be，意為“將會是、將會存在”

在第一人稱的時候，如果想表達的比較慎重，你可以用 shall be，第二個結構：be going to be 中，前面那個be 時要根據人稱而變化的，後面的那個 be 是原形。

現在完成時的 be

我們知道現在完成時的動詞結構是：have / has + 過去分詞，be 動詞的現在完成時也是這樣：have / has + been，been 就是 be 的過去分詞而已。be 表示“是、存在”，而 have / has been 表示的是“完成的狀態”，看例句：

一般過去時的 be：was 和 were，其中 was 是am和is共同的過去式，were 是 are 的過去式。

14 years old。 我今年 14 歲。

13 years old last year。 我去年 13 歲。

you a teacher？ 你是個老師嗎？（問平時）

Were

you at school yesterday？（問過去）

過去將來時的 be：would be或者 was / were going to be， 其實就是will be 和 be going to be 的過去式

用於表達相對於一個過去時間點的將來，例如：

He said he

would

be

here to help me。 他當時說會來幫我。

He thought he

would

be

free the next day。 她當時想第二天他會有時間的。

過去完成時的 be：had been，其實就是have / has been 的過去式，用於表達相對於一個過去的時間之前完成的狀態。

When I arrived， I found Anna had been there waiting for me。 我到的時候，發現安娜已經在那等我了。

As I decided to do some cleaning， I found everything had been ckeaned。 正當我準備打掃衛生的時候，我發現所有的東西都背打掃乾淨了。

be 的各種時態掌握之後，會對含有 be 的短語的用法有更加深入的瞭解，比如 be able to，be afraid of ，be angry with，be pleased with，be famous for 等。例如：

swim when he was 3。 他三歲時就會游泳。

when you see it。 你看到時，會害怕的。

has been angry with

me since。 那之後她一直生著我的氣。
