在官方網站中，這篇文章直接使用了引言的第一句話” The second half of humanity is joining the internet”來做標題，乾脆地點明本文核心資訊。

大標題“You ain’t seen nothing yet”是一句美國俚語，是一句吸引人注意的話，意思是“精彩的還在後面，好戲還在後頭”。

看英文詞典的解釋：Someone has only glimpsed or experienced the beginning of something that will become even more exciting，impressive， or important。 （The word “ain‘t” is a colloquial form of “hasn’t” or “haven‘t，” which are sometimes usedinstead。）

另外，雙重否定作為非正規英語自莎士比亞以來一直為白人所使用，雙重否定是一種強調手段，在方言和理語等不規範的英語中，

雙重否定甚至多重否定仍然表示否定

，而非我們所理解的“雙重否定表示肯定”。

再來說說ain’t，都認為它是amnot/isnot/arenot/havenot/hasnot五種形式的變體，語言學家認為這是一種不規範的語言，但事實上，“Ain’t是個使用非常廣泛的英語單詞，它出現在所有的非規範美國英語以及大多數非規範英國英語之中。”（JennyCheshire，1982：51），它只是在標準英語的狹小範圍內才無聲無息，而在英語語言的廣闊領域內，它毫不遜色，與標準英語平起平坐。

例如：

Iain’t going to tell him。我不打算告訴他。

Don’t talk to me like that， you ain’t my boss。別這樣和我說話，你又不是我的上司。

It’s the order，ain’t it？這就是命令，不是嗎？

I ain’t got any more cigarettes。我沒有香菸了。

Bill ain’t been here for days。比爾好幾天沒來了。

不過呢，學生朋友們還是規規矩矩地用好is not，am not，are not以及have not，has not哦，不好用於書面語，會被扣分滴。

IN 2007 MORE humans lived in cities than outside them for the first time. It was a transition 5,000 years in the making. The internet has been quicker to reach the halfway mark. Over 50% of the planet’s population is now online, a mere quarter of a century after the web first took off among tech-savvy types in the West. The second half of the internet revolution has begun. It is changing how society works—and also creating a new business puzzle.

In 2007 more humans lived in cities than outside them for the first time。 代詞them指代的是cities。

data-savvy就是“精通資料的”；

例如：Trustbusters must also become more data-savvy in their analysis of market dynamics。反壟斷當局在分析市場動態時也必須更加精通資料。

Millennials， due in part to their digital savvy， already are credited with significant changes in how we live， work and interact。 由於精通數碼等原因，千禧一代已被認為給我們的生活、工作和互動方式帶來了顯著變化。

tech-savvy types：表示精通技術的這一人群，可以譯為“科技發燒友”

took off：If something such as a product， an activity， or someone’s career takes off， it suddenly becomes very successful。 突然成功，走紅

例如：Ellen became jealous when Jack’s career started taking off。
