使用比較級+than句型應注意什麼，你真的知道嗎？

在初中英語中，當表示甲在某一方面超過乙（即A>B）時，要用到一種很常見的比較結構，不過有些同學並不能很好地運用這一結構進行比較。下面，我就如何準確地使用這一結構提出一些看法，同學們在使用比較級+than句型時應注意以下八點：

一、要同類比較。

1。Her hair is longer than_____。

A。 I B。 me C。 my D。 mine

2。 The weather of Guangzhou is warmer than____。

A。 Beijing B。 of Beijing C。 that of Beijing D。 those of Beijing

3。Living in the countryside is more interesting than _____in city。

A。 live B。 to live C。 living D。 lives

二、

比較物件在範圍上不能包括主語本身在內。

1。He is taller than any other student in his class。

或把any other student 改為the other students 或改為the others或改為anybody else，但不能把other去掉，說成He is taller than any student in his class。 因為他班裡的任何學生就包括他本身在內。

2。 Shanghai is larger than any city in China 就不對，但Shanghai is larger than any city in Japan 就對。

三、比較級前面可加much/far/a lot/a little/a bit/even/still以及名詞短語修飾，叫程度狀語。

Watching game shows is far more enjoyable than watching sports news。

四、

這種比較結構可用於兩個主語、兩個賓語、兩個狀語之比。

1。It’s easier to say than to do。（兩個主語之比）

2。 I like her better than you。（有可能是兩個主語之比，也有可能是兩個賓語之比） 可譯為：我比你更喜歡她。或譯為：我喜歡她勝過喜歡你。 但是，I like her better than you do。則是兩個主語之比。所以，在這種情況下，為了避免意義混淆，you 後的動詞do不能省略。

3。She likes apples better than oranges。（兩個賓語之比）她喜歡蘋果勝過喜歡橙子。

4。There are more students in our class than in theirs。（兩個狀語之比）

五、

這種比較結構可用於同一人或事物在不同情況下的比較。

1。She looks younger than she is。 她看起來比實際年齡要年輕。

2。 The boy is much taller this year than he was last year。

3。They are more friendly than you think。

4。It was a lot better than I hoped。

5。That may be more dangerous than you can imagine。

六、這種比較結構可與最高階改寫。

He is the tallest boy in his class。=He is taller than any other boy in his class。

=No boy is taller than he （或him）in his class。

七、有時候可省略than及其後面的部分，叫隱含比較。

It is hot in July，but it is even hotter in August。

This watch is too expensive。Can you show me a cheaper one？

八、使用這種比較結構時，還要注意形容詞可作表語、定語、賓語補足語，副詞作狀語。

1。 He picked more apples than me yesterday。（形容詞作定語）

2。Her hair is shorter than mine。（形容詞作表語）

3。She has shorter hair than I。 （形容詞作定語）

4。The invention of solfwares made it a lot easier for us to use computers。（形容詞作賓語補足語）

5。He drives more carefully than me。 （副詞作狀語）
