在之前的文章《衍生詞詞性大選擇——例項兩則》中，小編簡單辨析了increase（動詞和名詞，增加；增長）和increasing（increase的衍生詞，形容詞，增加的）。increase還有一個衍生的形容詞，也同樣翻譯為“增加的”，即increased。既然increasing和increased同為形容詞，又都翻譯為“增加的”，那它們的區別是什麼呢，讓我們一起辨析一下吧。

increasing是increase的現在分詞演變的形容詞，就會含有現在分詞的屬性，側重於表達主動和進行。increased是increase的過去分詞演變的形容詞，就會含有過去分詞的屬性，側重於表達被動和過去。

因此increasing側重於表達漸增的，越來越多的，繼續增加的趨勢；而increased側重於表達已經增加後狀態。

下面從兩個例項讓我們明確一下二者的區別吧

分析：通過後面的語境（耗電的電器）表明賬單金額增加了並且會繼續增加，因此

選擇increasing

。整句翻譯為：如果你對賬單金額的增加有異議，請核實下哪個電器最耗電。

2。 The destruction of the intestinal mucosal barrier can result in the （ ）intestinal permeability， and induce the translocation of opportunistic pathogens from the enteric cavity to the lamina propria。

分析：這個句子是一個描述性的表達，描述的是腸道通透性增加的結果。透過語境可以看出，此句強調的不是腸道通透性持續性增加，而是因為增加而造成的影響。因此

選擇increased

。整句翻譯為：腸黏膜屏障破壞可引起腸道通透性增加，誘發機會性致病菌由腸腔向固有層移位。
